CABOR Announces Community Service Project

The Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS® (CABOR) & its Young Professionals Network (YPN) have teamed up with the Cleveland Furniture Bank to help area youth get “Rested, Refreshed & Ready to Learn.”

From August 5 through August 16th, REALTOR® association members, as well as members of public, are invited to donate new twin sized bedding, including pillows, sheets and blankets, for the Cleveland Furniture Bank to distribute to families in need. Many local RE/MAX offices have offered to serve as a drop-off location for persons interested in helping out local youth.

To ensure the twin sized bedding donation drive is a complete success, CABOR is sponsoring a wing night on Friday, August 16, 2013, at Scoundrels in Berea to benefit the “Bedding for Cleveland Kids” program. The event is open to the public and will run from 6 – 9 p.m. The cost is $20 per person.  Funds collected that evening will be used by the Cleveland Furniture Bank to purchase new twin sized bedding, sheets and pillows.

Will you help a child in Cuyahoga County? With the school year about to begin, it’s more important than ever that we help ensure that the youth in our neighborhoods are “Rested, Refreshed & Ready to Learn.”
