Cuyahoga County Notice to All Real Estate Industry Professionals Regarding 2016 Republican National Convention
The following is a letter from Brian M. O’Malley, Acting Administrator, Real Estate Services Department of the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office:
ALL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS
As most of you are aware the Fiscal Office has been making contingency plans for the week of the Republican National Convention. The convention begins Monday July 18th, 2016 and wraps up Thursday July 21st, 2016. During this week we will have a full service satellite location set up at 1642 Lakeside Avenue, 2nd floor, wherein you will be able to transfer & record documents. The hours of that location will be 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Cuyahoga County Administrative Head Quarters (2079 East 9th Street) will have modified hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for that same week.
I must stress that we are encouraging all title representatives, lawyers, real estate professionals, etc. to use the main location, unless ingress and egress to the building becomes untenable or due to a directive issued by the county. If anything were to happen that requires the Administrative Head Quarters to be closed temporarily or access is limited, you will be notified via email in addition to the “Ready Notify” system.
For those of you not familiar with this service, it is a county wide emergency notification system available to all citizens. You can register to receive notifications at: https://ready.cuyahogacounty.us/en-us/readynotify.aspx
You can expect to receive notifications relating to: emergency events; government news; building closures; safety messages; etc.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me anytime.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate the myriad of potential challenges that hosting this convention presents.
Brian M. O’Malley
