Prepare Now for the November 7 General Election
Voters in the November 7th General Election will elect municipal candidates for mayor, city council and judicial seats. There will also be ballot issues for voters in Cuyahoga and Summit counties, including state, county, school and library issues.
People who wish to cast ballots by mail need to obtain, complete, and return their Vote by Mail applications as soon as possible. To request an application in Cuyahoga County, visit www.443vote.com, or call 216-443-VOTE (8683). Applications for Summit County can be found at www.summitcountyboe.com/, or by calling 330-643-5200. Vote by Mail ballot applications are also available at all public libraries. The Board of Elections will begin mailing ballots to voters October 11th.
The voter registration and change of address deadline for the November 7th General Election is Tuesday October 10th, at 9:00 p.m. Voters who have not registered, moved, or have changed their name, must update or register to vote on or before October 10th. Registration cards are available at all public libraries.
It is important for all voters to be prepared to cast their ballots. Sample ballots are also available on the Board of Elections websites.
