The Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office has added a tool to its website to help you estimate the difference between your current level of property taxes, based on your existing property value and the proposed new 2018 value associated with your property.

According to the County website, the Property Tax Estimator will provide estimates only for residential properties in Cuyahoga County. “Your actual property tax may be more or less than the value calculated in the estimator. Your actual property tax bill due in 2019 may also include items such as special assessments, delinquency charges, newly implemented tax levies or other miscellaneous fees not determinable at this time. For purposes of this estimate, an owner-occupied credit is assumed. If you are not eligible for the owner-occupied credit your estimated tax may be greater.”

If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office at (216) 443-2134.
