Introduction to Socioeconomic Diversity

When:  Jan 11, 2023 from 09:30:00 AM to 10:30:00 AM (ET)

Join us for a new subject in ACAR's Diversity Series!  In this session, students will explore the concepts of socioeconomic status, social class, and wealth versus income.  Through group dialogue and activities, you will have the opportunity to learn and discuss how these concepts lead to exclusion both in our society.  We will also explore and learn practical strategies that may be applied to mitigate the negative impact of socioeconomic status bias on personal and organizational levels so that all people can begin to feel included.
