Ethics: Aspirational? or Have To?

Participants will be challenged to explore their personal beliefs, values and general knowledge of Ohio's Canons of Ethics and the NAR Code of Ethics and how these two documents complement each other.  Students will review key areas of ethical concerns and be provided a reminder of selected core concepts within the general real estate professions required Standards of Practice. 

Discussion and group work will help students to form a framework for understanding ethical dilemmas, how they can be confronted and how best to resolve in a thoughtful, successful manner.  The goal is to continue raising the professionalism of the industry. 

Instructor: Alec Hagerty, ABRM, BPOR, C-CREC, CRB, e-Pro, GHS, Green, M-CNE, SHS, SRS.   

This core course satisfies both the NAR requirement for ethics training for all REALTORS as well as the ODRE requirement for Canons of Ethics requirement. 

3 hours Canons of Ethics approved.
